How Can Perioral Dermatitis Be Treated?

Hi there, I have what I believe to be perioral dermatitis. Last month, I was prescribed clotrimazole for this condition that occurred around my mouth and nose, but now have it on my hand as well and I’m wondering if I should use the same ointment on my hand. My ENT didn’t at the time diagnose Perioral Dermatitis but believed it could be a fungal infection hence the clotrimazone. I was also prescribed (at the same time) Mupirocin for a sore-like spot inside my nostril and what appeared to be a nasal infection as a result. So which would be most effective on Perioral dermititis of the band. The anti-fungal or anti-bacterial?

Hello

The best thing would be to meet a skin doctor and confirm the diagnosis as the treatment for it would be steroid ointment and not anti fungal or anti biotic ointment.

Thanks
