Hello, I am a 38 year old female and for the last couple weeks I have experiencing pain in my lower right side of abdomen. It got so bad and I went to ER and they gave me a ct scan did labs and ultrasound vaginal ultrasound as well and said everything is ok. But I m still peeing every 15 minutes sometimes without being able to hold it in. It is a visible bulge on the side where it hurts and still very gassy and tired all the time. I have also been somewhat constipated as well. I don t have a pcp right now and only been seeing a endocrinologists for my Graves disease and gyn for check ups. I m afraid I may have ovarian cancer or something that has been going on for a while thst I didn t know about. I tried to get a new patient appointment with a new dr but it won t be for weeks. I don t know what to do. I am a mother of 2 children that need me. I don t want to die from something I can get help for if I catch it now. Please help me

hello,

Since you have frequency of urination, try to void taking beverages like alcohol and caffeinated drinks. Your symptom may be indicative of UTI, overactive bladder, STI, kidney stones, etc. Pelvic abscess, ovarian cysts, uterine prolapse, bladder cancer, etc., are some of the causes of your symptoms. Practice good hygiene. Wear clean, dry underwear to prevent UTI.

Maintain a healthy diet. Exercise regularly to prevent these symptoms. Anyways get clinically examined by a urologist / GP, get required blood tests, urinalysis (R/E and C/S), imaging tests done to detect the factor causing you discomfort. If required, you will be referred to a gynecologist, your treatment will depend on the pathology causing you discomfort.

Take antacids or PPIs to get rid of pain and discomfort due to gas. Avoid constipation. Take fiber rich diet, take water and fluids in adequate amount. If needed take laxatives or better bowel movement. You will be treated with antibiotics, analgesics or recommended surgery if required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
