How Can Persistent Pain In The Left Ear Be Treated?

I am having for 3 days now sharp pains near my left ear. A doctors visits shows no infection. I have been taking advil and get some relief but it comes back. Some friend suggested I go to a dentist to see about a bad tooth or jaw problem. This is really getting to me. Any ideas?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your friend is telling the right thing...

Let me know you ear pain can be from otitis like ear infection or it can be from referred pain from sinus inflammation or referred from tooth problem

So if you are having tooth pain or infection I'm teeth then it can lead rendered ear pain.. For that tooth cause should be treated

If you are having cold symptoms or sinus infection then decongestant needs to be prescribed

If no specific cause found then it can be predicted that ear pain is from inflammation and for that prescribed ibuprofen can be taken for five days and warm compress useful

Hope your concern solved
