How Can Persistently High Temperature, Left-sided Body Pain And Cough Be Treated?

I have a 4 year daughter who has been running 100 to 103 fever, had pain in left side area for the last 11days, does not want to eat, wants to just sleep, coughs so hard to the point of choking. Symptom s get worse at night. Her Doctor told us it was a virus that has to run its course.

If your daughter is running fever even after 11 days then contact your doctor again as in this case it might be a super added bacterial infection which is causes this problem and this might need an antibiotic to be given to make her better
