General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Presence of pimples and blackheads in the forehead is a presentation of acne. Treatment of acne can be started, depending on the severity, with local creams like benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin cream combined for a better effect, or isotretinoin cream.

Meanwhile, try to not poke the pimples and the blackheads, avoid putting hands on the face too often during the day and keep good hygiene of hands and face (use antibacterial soap for the face). If these don't help for 2 months then these can be combined with oral antibiotics like doxycycline. Most of the moderate acne should respond to these.

If no improvement then treatment with oral isotretinoin can be used, with prescription and careful follow up from the doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
