Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How do i get rid of a small , not like most pimples, but its definitely a pimple that has been on the fatty part of my cheek for a long time. i have squeezed it many times some white gunk comes out but it never goes away. it feels like a little hard mass under my skin, i created this my self by squeezing it a long time ago.
Well, it can be a small cyst of the oil gland or can be an infected follicle or pore. Squeezing it is not the solution as it can lead to increase in size and increasing inflammation.
So my suggestion is to consult a skin specialist and get evaluated. You can be advised to apply Clindamycin gel along with benzoyl peroxide.
Do warm compresses over the bump. Use Salicylic acid containing facewash.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards, Dr Honey Arora, Dentist
