How Can Pinched Nerve On The Left Hip Be Treated?

I was diagnosed last week with vertebrae pinching nerves and my left hip area hurts like hell when I move the leg or put weight on it. They prescribed methylprednisolone, gabapentin, and tramadol. I am now getting a blistery rash in my midsection. What is the likely culprit for that?
