I have pinworms. I got them 3 years ago. I think from my daughter. I treated them with 2 courses of ovex but the symptoms of bloating & could constipation did not clear up, although no worms were present at night. I Therefore assumed they had gone but every 3-6 months they be back, even though my daughter was not showing symptoms. I still have symptoms but no worms at night. I ve seen them in my poo & ive stared back on the ovex & they re visible & dead. My question is how long would you recommend I continue treatment. I took ovex 3 months ago, 3 doses spaced over 2 wkly intervals, one dose each time but it didn t clea up my infection. I m treating all my family too just in case. I ve stared taking a probiotic too. I m doing all the correct higene measures but I think I m being infected retro because they aren t coming out to lay eggs.
