How Can Post-meal High Blood Glucose Level Be Managed?

I was diagnosed with diabetes on june 3rd and placed on metformin i immediately started a plant based diet. I have been testing with a meter and have been averaging around 120 right now i tested i think about an hour or so after my meal and its 320. Im scared. I have not ever tested this high. One time i tested at 190. What do i do???

I really appreciate your concern, it is better to managed the blood sugar level in tight rule basis in beginning it bit difficult but it will be okay once you keep visiting the endocrinologist for better drug and good diet planning, it is advisable to discuss this with endocrinologist hope this information helps.
