How Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed?

So I haven't got my period for over a month now. There have been times though that I have sex with my boyfriend and I bleed as if I am on my period but when I go to the restroom there is no blood. I'm concerned about weather or not Im pregnant because we have slipped and had unprotected sex a couple times. So my question is do you know what's going on?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You have unprotected sex couple of times and you haven't got your period over a month now. Most common cause of delayed period is pregnancy. I would suggest to go for urinary pregnancy test once your period delays by 8 to 10 days from the normal expected period date.

You can also go for blood HCG test. It is very sensitive and specific test as compared to urine pregnancy test and it give positive result even 10 to 12 days after unprotected sex. In absence of the pregnancy, it could be due to hormonal imbalance, excessive stress, change in life style and dietary habit. Bleeding during intercourse could be due to rough sex, vaginal infection, cervix and endometrial dysplasia, and pelvic inflammatory disease. So if period will not come and pregnancy test will come negative, consult the gynecologist and undergo detailed examination.

In absence of pregnancy, period can be induced by the progesterone pill. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regulal exercise.
