Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a medical abortion on sept 19th and had sex 9 days later around the 29th. I was supposed to wait 2 weeks and didn t. My boyfriend came inside me I thought while going through the removal process that I would not be fertile. I did go in for my two week check up and they asked me if I had sec. I said yes 4 days ago! They then told me I was very fertile then. I tested there tho and they did confirm a negative test. However it s been on my mind so I tested today 10/15 and I have a faint positive. Am I pregnant again? I mean they got a negative and ten days later I m seeing a faint positive.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The possibility is there. In fact its pretty possible that the test may be negative initially and latter on turn positive. I would advise you should repeat the test in few more day to confirm it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
