How Can Pregnancy Be Confirmed?

On the 4th of October my wife and I were adviced on the need for a medical abortion, this was because she leaked a reasonable amount of amniotic fuid and on examination via ultrasound a diagnosis of severe oligohydraminous was made. A medical abortion was induced using mifepriston I think, after which everything content came out and I say yhis cos we had an ultrasound 24hrs later and one week afterwards. Take note that this medical abortion happened at 15week 4days of gestation. Exactly 2weeks later after the abortion I had sex with my wife and its 4weeks after the medical abortion and she tested positive with a second faint line.... is this another pregnancy or the remnants of the HCG hormones?
