General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that Duphaston medicine contains Dydrogesterone drug which is a form of progestin and is given to treat a lack of progesterone in the body which is necessary for conceiving and maintaining the pregnancy.

Since, it has been 4 days since you stopped the medicine I would advise you to wait for another 3 to 4 days as it may take up to 7 days for bleeding to occur.

The easiest way to check whether you are pregnant is to do a home pregnancy urine test. Many kits are available in the market.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma Amman
