How Can Pregnancy Be Prevented After Unprotected Intercourse?

so i had sex with my boyfriend today and he didn’t wear a condom and i haven’t been taking my bc regularly cause i have been having some other health issues and there were so many different medications i needed to take. he pulled out maybe 2 minutes before he actually came but i am still so scared. do you know what i should do? i took 4 of my bc pills cause one of the doctors i have i remember telling me it could work but i am still so scared and i’m literally crying right now. what should i do? my last period ended on the 4th or the 5th. it's hard to actually remember as it is very very irregular!

Hi I think you can repeat the 4 pills of birth control pill after 12 hours of 1st dose. It will act as emergency pill. So, it can prevent pregnancy. If your periods get delayed, you can do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, you can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. Hope it helps.
