How Can Premature Ventricular Contractions Be Treated?
I m a 42 year old male that was prescribed Cipro for an enlarged prostate. I can tell you that I ve battled PVC s and bouts of Afib for years. I had an Abaltion performed in 09, but it didn t quite eliminated the PVC S altogether. I m also someone who have battled episodes of depression over the years as well. I started taking the medication a couple of days ago. Was this the best antibiotic for someone with my medical history?

welcome to hcm ..please see that drug as azithromycin are not tolerated by some cardiac patients
so cipro was prescribed it is safe above 12 years
but instead of cipro i would recommend levofloxocin 500 mg twice a day for 2 days and then 500 mg once a day for 12 days...total course being 14 days
if there is no response after 14 days course then please go for culture of prostatic secretions after prostate massage or directly tab doxycycline 100 mg two times may be added
