How Can Pressure In The Ear And Throat Be Treated?

Yes please I am a father of a survivor of nodular sculorosis hodgekin lymphoma. He is 4 years post treatment. And for what we know he is doing well. Lately he has been complaining of ear neck/throat pressure. He seen his new PCP today and prescribed steroidal ear drops. Said if these don t help he needs to see an ENT. Well as a parent of a child who had cancer. It s very unnerving. My son will hold things in fear he will upset anyone and his wife is 7 mos pregnant. I found this sight looking for the proximity of the lymphnodes to the eustation tubes ?

Hi,

I don't think this had to do with Hodgkin's lymphoma but maybe ear congestion from a common cold it flu.

I think you should not worry.

He can take any antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs together with steroid eardrops to see how it is going.

Wait for a week and if not better visit ENT doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
