i recently had cataract and retina vitrectomy surgery to repair a detached retina and restore vision loss in right eye. My Dr. informed me that I am at high risk of retina detachment because I am very near sighed so my eye ball is not round. It been a long recovery as the last surgery was in Oct. Since my vision seemed to stabilize I was prescribed eye glasses; but my script had to be changed (increased) within 1 week of getting glasses. My follow up visit today with eye retina specialist confirmed increased eye pressure in right eye (21); and further vision degradation in right eye. Her concern is fluid in eye, causing increased eye pressure. My question: Since I am back on many eye drops (see below) including a steroid (PREDNISONE), BRIMONINE, DORZOLZMINE, LANTENOPROST, CYCLOPENTOLATE), is it likely that my vision will improve? Or will I experience ongoing vision loss?
