How Can Prolonged Menstruation Be Treated?

Hi my nurse put my on the depo shot instead of the cerezette pill to help stop prolonged periods. I ve been on the depo shot now for 3 months and I m currently experiencing a 21 day period. I know this isn t right and I don t know what I can do to stop it. I ve not been able to have sex with my partner because of this and I barely get to see him due to his military job. Please help!

In such situations there should be a revision in the regimen and I would recommend a replacement of the depo in order to help with better correction of your cycle.
