How Can Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding Be Treated?

I have currently had the implanon for 5 months and have been bleeding for over 4 months now this is not okay. I need to figure out a way to stop the bleeding I have not so good insurance they won t let me see a doctor because my insurances doesnt cover it. Help!

Hi, I think it is a side effect of implanon. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid 500mg 3 times per day to stop the bleeding. If it doesn't work, you may need high dose of progesterone to stop the bleeding. Consult a gynecologist for proper prescription. Hope it helps.
