How Can Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding Be Treated?

Hey ive been bleeding since September last year after taking a 3months injection i was suppose to take it again on December but i ddnt hence the bleeding couldnt stop i went to a gyna last week he prescribed Premarlin 0.625 Its been 8days now taking them but the bleeding hvnt stopped, After how long will the bleeding stop while taking Premarlin or is there any other medication that I can take to stop the bleeding?
