How Can Psoriasis Be Treated?

Hello. My son has a minor case of Psoriasis and has used clobetasol propionate cream, USP, 0.05% as topical treatment in the past. He will be deployed soon and does not have time to see Dermatologist before he departs. He is wondering if there an OTC ointment he may use as a substitute? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are so many OTC steroid creams available in the market. You can give him Dermovet cream or Dermacort cream if the cream which he has been using is not available.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
