Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition where one gets red rashes on the face: cheeks and nose. If not treated or controlled it can give a purple hue. I suggest start applying sunscreen regularly. Metrogyl gel and Salicylic acid peels are useful in reducing the rosacea too. I suggest you get it reviewed by the concerned doctor for the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Smruti Pevekar
