Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and understand your concern.

I am sorry for the many adverse effects you are having with the blood pressure medications. Lisinopril is a very good medication for blood pressure and if it causes cough than Valsartan can be used. It is similar to Lisinopril but does not cause cough.

Diuretics are several types. If you used Hydrochlorothiazide there are others in other classes that you can talk with your doctor if they are indicated in your case.

Also a class that I don't see you have used is calcium channel blockers- Amlodipine. Amlodipine is good at controlling blood pressure and might be something to be tried in your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, MD
