How Can Rashes On The Body And Face Of An Infant Be Treated?
My baby is of 1month and was using jnj top to toe wash, jnj baby oil and jnj body lotion. He started getting red rashes on body face and head, so I started applying coconut oil for body massage and started to use teddy bar soap, Himalaya body lotion. Please suggest will the red rashes reduces and is teddy bar soap safe to use. Please suggest the shampoo to be used.

Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like allergic reaction, contact dermatitis can be caused by coming into contact cosmetic, side effects or certain medicines, sensitivity to sunlight and eczema. - Maintain proper personal hygiene. - Apply cold compresses to reduce the itchiness and inflammation. - Drink plnety of fluids. - Avoid application of any hard cosmetics.
You should consult pediatrician for proper examination Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test , test fro allergy and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment , antibiotics , anti inflammatory and immunosuppressants .
