Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have seizures which appears to be between 3-5 in the morning. I ve had three that my wife call 911. The last one, this past weekend, she found me on the floor in the shower stall with the shower running and I was on the floor. The weird part about it is the ambulance toook me to a hospital gave me a shot, kept me a few hours, helped me in my wife car and told her I had to recharge. She took me home, helped me out of the car and sat me on the couch. I never knew I rode in the ambulance or went to the hospital. Today I feel great although I got my word structure mixed up when I talk. Is this normal? How many Doctors should I go to diagnose the proper medicine.

How Can Recurrent Seizures Be Treated?
Hi, Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. An MRI scan is required to rule out any possible lesion or causes in the brain. You might require long-term antiepileptic drugs to prevent further seizure attacks. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
