I have 8-10 pimples or bumbs on my back which are red/pink. Measure 3-5mm. They have been there for about a week. They do not itch or cause pain. They do feel slightly itchy after sweating. I am not on any medication or have any other symptoms. I am a male age 14. They have not seemed to improve in condition ever since I noticed them.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The bumps that you have on your back seems to be due to Staph infection or hair follicle infection. Excessive sweating can also cause infection, irritation and eruption of bumps.
So, my suggestion is to apply a combination of antibiotic, and steroid ointment like Betnovate N and do cool compresses over it. Apply talcum powder to maintain dryness.
Wear cotton clothes and do cool compresses over it. If there is no improvement in a week then consult a Physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora
