How Can Red Rashes On The Leg Be Treated?

I had surgery on my left knee 18 days ago due to torn cartilage (+ .... some arthritis). I walk O.K. Four days ago I got some red dots (small spots) similar to rash from my ankle up till 4 inches from my groin. Now, my right leg looks normal. How do I get rid of this problem please? Thank you very much.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
It can be allergy to the drugs being given after surgery.
Apply calamine lotion/steroid cream to it.you can take tab cetrizine over the counter . If no relief consult your surgeon.
Thanks
