How Can Redness And Roughness On The Left Foot Be Removed?
Hello I m a sixty two year old Black female. I m diabetic and had a kidney transplant almost five years ago. My left foot tends to lean towards the side and I have to remember to straighten it up. Now on the side of that foot it s red and very rough. How can I safely remove this rough area? Or should I have a doctor do it?

How Can Redness And Roughness On The Left Foot Be Removed?
Hi, Possible inflammation or infection with some sort of bacteria or fungus. As you have been undergone a kidney transplant, it is fair to consult your doc rather than deciding to go for self-removal of the lesion. Can use immersion of foot in lukewarm water added Epsom salt for primary relief. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
