How Can Renal Failure Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with third stage renal failure. However I haven t been recieving any treatment nor consultation. Is that normal procedure. I was never diagnosed with stage one nor stage two even though I was being seen by my doctor regularly. How is that?

Hello,

You have to rule out underlying cause for renal failure like prolonged diabetes, hypertension etc.

Your ammonia, urea and creatinine level also has to be checked.

If high enough than dialysis might be needed.

I suggest you consult urologists for detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
