How Can Resistance Hypertension Be Treated?

I m 33 years old,I have resistance hypertension I have used more than 10 types of hypertension drugs ,but non of them lower my bp usually its 160/100 even take medicine or not take ,and I check up everything all are normal. recently I take Coverysl Plug,Diovan Plus,bisprolol and my bp still 160/10.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The first thing we do in such cases is to rule out secondary causes of hypertension. Many a times blood pressure is difficult to control easily. What we do is we increase the dose of drug , and up to 3 drugs in the maximum dose. Give some time like a month to see the effect; if still not controlled , then such patient should be treated by a specialist. However, give some time to the drugs to take effect.
