How Can Ribcage Soreness And Breast Knot Caused By Trauma Be Treated?

I was wrestling with my boyfriend and he grabbed me from behind and squeezed me very tightly around my rib cage, with my arms down by my sides. He tends to underestimate his strength, and something popped. When I woke up the next day I noticed my ribcage was extremely sore, as well as the side of my left breast where the pop was heard. My left breast feels different than my right in that area. It s like there is extra tissue now, almost a knot. Any ideas?

If a breast is injured by trauma, tiny blood vessels can rupture to cause an area of localized bleeding (hematoma) that can be felt as a lump. Trauma to the breast can damage the fat cells in the breast tissue, a condition called fat necrosis.If you need help with managing pain, see your doctor. They can advise you on the best methods of pain control for you. You can usually ease pain from a traumatic injury with a pain reliever such as ibuprofen . Thank you
