How Can Rickets Be Treated?

Hi my daughter is of 9 years her weight is only 20 kgs. When she was of 1 year she suffered from rickets. Now she has no deformity but she has not been eating since she is born her height is also 4 feet 1 inch. She looks malnutrition child. Someone suggested me logifene syrup I have given her yesterday now she is suffering from fever.. is it because of the syrup.. or normal viral. Pls help

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think you first need to check her for malabsorption. A disease that cause malabsorption is Celiac and you should check her for it. Rickets is not treatable but prevented by Vitamin D intake. I think fever is due to viral infection .
