How Can Right Vastus Medialis Muscle Pain Be Treated?

hi dr iam having pain in my right vastus medilias muscle from last 8 months .I feel pain when i sit or stand in a same position for some time.Sometimes i have no pain in the whole day then i sleep and when i get up in the morning the same pain starts.some times calf muscla also stretches along with it.I am mechanical engineer so i have to sit and work in the same position for long period infront of computer.Please guide .iam very worry.
