How Can Scabs And Nosebleeds After A Nose Cauterization Be Treated?

I had nose cauterization on July 25th. I still have scabs & nosebleeds. It is better, but I was expecting to be healed in 2 weeks like the dr. said. He said, unless...and then his voice trailed off. No followup appointment was scheduled. I used Ocean nasal spray until I got sick & tired of that. Switched to nasal saline gel which seems gentler. My nose cannot handle much pressure at all.

Hi,

You seem to have healing lesions and scabs of coagulated blood in the nostrils. Do not worry. They will be removed in a few days. Do not prick in nostrils otherwise you may get trauma and infection. Just apply Mupirocin ointment.
