General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Psoriasis is a problem that has treatment options in allopathy that work. Given that you have a history of pustular psoriasis, I would advise you to consult a dermatologist for further treatment. The condition weakens the skin barrier and makes you prone to a multitude of infections and pustular psoriasis could put you at risk for electrolyte imbalances as well. Psoralen and UV therapy, advised by a dermatologist would help improve your condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
