How Can Sciatic Nerve Pain Be Treated?

I am having problems with my sciotic nerve on my right side.The pain has been going on for the 10th day now.My hip my buttocks and the back of my leg hurt really bad.And im feeling numbness in my foot.What type of doctor should i see.the over the counter pain meds are not helping my pain.The pain is worse when i get up in the mornings.

Hello,

You should take ibuprofen or Naproxen for pain. Also, you may need to take muscle relaxation medications such muscoflex. If the pain still is bad you may need to take corticosteroids. Also, physical therapy is recommended.
