How Can Sciatica Be Treated?

I have a pinched sciatica nerve on my left side and my doctor gave me a steroid shot on Sat. and it still hasn t helped.. he also told me to start taking 15mg of Mobic each day but i m scared seeing all these warnings about Mobic but i m in serious pain for 5 days now.. also i check with a drug checker on the internet that says everything i take such as BP pills dont go good together with Mobic. thanks

Hi,



You can use Tablet Dan MR 12 hourly for pain relief.

Apply hot compression over back area from where pain radiates.

Steroids shots can give temporary relief in such condition.



I advice you to consult neurosurgeon to get proper examination and evaluation of exact cause. CT spine would be advisable to evaluate spinal pathology.
