How Can Seborrheic Dermatitis Be Treated?

I am 57 years old and last spring my hair dresser noticed things in my hair she thought were lice so I went to this place that can take care of lice for you and do head checks and he said i don’t know what this is but it’s not lice. They look like skinny white specks stuck to my hair. I do suffer from seborrheic dandruff but these are not flakes that comb out they are stuck to the hair. Could they be hair casts. I just want to get rid of these th8ngs.
