Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
how do I control stage 4 miniature seizures. Throughout the week, I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and I try to stay away from the fatty foods. I need to know what do I do. I take the levetiracetam medication for seizures. I can be reached at 214-766-1849
We do not give prescriptions or direct personal advice. While keppra is good, people need seizure medicines adjusted and most people will need a different medicine than just the most prescribed one alone. Keppra is significantly milder than Dilantin but, many people need Dilantin or a combination of multiple drugs. The food associated with better seizure control would be "the ketogenic diet" that is low in sugar and starch but not necessarily fruit and often with more fat and less starch.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Matt Wachsman
