How Can Severe Acne Be Treated?

I was using arynoin but it only increased my acne so I went to another dermamatologist who prescribed doxycycline. I ve started using it but see no signs of improvement whatsoever. It s only been 3 days though. But my acne is increasing each day. Please help

Hello,

There are many ways to treat acne which includes medical treatment which you are already taking and skin care as well. Apply Apple Cider Vinegar, Make a Honey and Cinnamon Mask, Moisturize With Aloe Vera and take multivitamin supplements such as zinc. Anti-acne treatment usually take weeks to heal. I suggest you to give it some time to heal. Patience is necessary in acne treatment.

Hi,

Yeah, takes weeks to months for doxycycline to work. Vitamin A derivatives--of which there are several-- are quite effective BUT cause birth defects that are truly horrifying so, it depends a lot if you are female.
