Hi,

As per your complaint acne or pimples can occur due to causes like: Clogged pores, Oily skin, hormonal imbalances, bacterial infection, inflammation, excess sun exposure etc.

Minocycline is found effective in reducing acne but long-term use can cause side effects so it is always better to take it under the supervision of a doctor and he may prefer topical medications.

You should consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can advise you to wash your face with Salicylic Acid containing facewash.

Apply a topical ointment containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide. Apply retinoids like Adapalene gel in a thin layer on pimples.

Do cool compresses over the face. Exfoliate your face twice a week to unclog the pores and remove dead skin.

You can also apply a sunscreen lotion when exposed to the sun. Oral medication like antibiotics like Clindamycin or Minocycline and retinoid like Isotretinoin can also be advised. Avoid oily food. You can also go for treatment like Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
