How Can Severe Anger Be Controlled?

My male child ,soon to be 16,has anger issues.I am not sure if this is teenage hormones for many of my friends suggest they have experienced worse,or medication related? He will have outburst, punch objects, and curse.Next thing you know he is an angel. He is on focalin, very smart, and talented. It is my understanding that focalin is one of the milder ADHD medications. He is followed by his pediatrician and I have consulted with a psychologist. The psychologist cannot be seen for a couple weeks. Is there a combination of medicines that can be used to control anger?Any thoughts appreciated.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.

If you can not control anger, better to consult a psychologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
