How Can Severe Anxiety Be Treated?

My wife suffered a 3rd concussion in an automobile accident 3 years ago and her doctor says it is permanent. She has many problems and most of them are described here. She is to a point of immobile and her anxiety has made her paranoid. I have to be with her 24/7. Is there anything that can be done so I can discuss it with her doctors?

Hello,

Yes, something can be done for her. If she's suffering from chronic anxiety then medication usually with antidepressants which are first line treatment for chronic anxiety should be started.

So you should definitely discuss it with her doctors possibly a psychiatrist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
