How Can Severe Anxiety Be Treated?

I have a high anxiety disorder and have had it for a while. I have tried many different medications and cant find one that doesnt make me feel like a zombie every day. I take ambien at night to sleep. It is the day time I need something and it is not every day. Just once in a while I need something to calm me down and take the edge off. I take Trintellix for depression. Any suggestions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated.

You might require anti-anxiety drugs to control unwanted anxiety.

Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
