How Can Severe Appetite Loss Be Treated?

Hello, I have not felt well for a couple years. I had a total hyst with cervix removal in 2013 due to uterine adenomyoma and 2 inguinal lyphnodes removed as well. I have had nausea, vomiting, major weight loss, hair loss, trouble breathing with what was told to have granulomatous disease. All drs have done is treat my symptoms since with no testing further than your normal cbc, camp, ect...i took to my own and went to a lab and had a tumor marker panel for women done which I paid out of pocket for. My neuron specific enolase came back elevated and I have read about it in many articles and spoke with my primary Dr but he said he didn t know anything about that and didn t proceed further. I still like frap all the time and can t gain weight and have no appetite still with nausea and vomiting and very little kinds of food I can tolerate. I am tired of feeling like I m being treated like a hypochondriac. My like of gym and bodybuilding have been dramatically taken away and my ability to eat and strength are gone. Please help with this. Should I go to an oncologist for help or is the NSE being elevated not a concern given my couple years of symptoms???

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I have gone through your symptoms and whole treatment protocols.

As you have mentioned that you have lost your appetite, i would suggest you to eat more protein plus fruits.

Plus you should take enough foods frequent ly .
I mean you should not take only lunch and dinner but you should take breakfast, lunch, evening breakfast plus dinner. Always prefer one glass of fresh juice and one glass of milk.

This will improve your appetite.

As per now no need to consult oncologist.

Have a better health.
