Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This pain looks to be because of nerve being pressed in the spine, the reason of which can be so many like disk prolapse, infection, fracture, or even rarely a malignancy. Mostly it is because of disk prolapse, or stenosis.

MRI of the spine is needed which would clearly tell as to what could be the cause of this pain. So I would like you do one. Till then, you can use some painkiller, like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen. Physiotherapy and hot/cold compression also gives good relief. I would also advise you avoid heavy work or weight lifting.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
