How Can Severe Body Ache And Elevated Liver Enzymes Be Treated?
My daughter has been suffering from sporadic pain since she had a flu shot on 2/1/2018. She is 1 at different times7 years old and has had flu shots in the past. Her pain is sporadic and affects different parts of her body at different times. Feet, legs, hands, upper back and neck. Tand oday it is mainly the back. Lately it is more upper body where in the beginning it was lower body. Her liver enzymes are high - have been tested twice. She has had an ultra sound for her liver, spleen, kidneys, &g all bdder all is normal. Next up is a gastrointestinal md and a rheumatologist. Her md thinks the pain could be related to the flu shot but unsure about the liver enzymes. She does have autoimmune issues - asthma, eczema & alopecia.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I have read carefully her history and I think that elevated liver enzymes are related to the autoimmune diseases. So, I suggest to exclude hep B and C and to meet a rheumatologist to define better the reason and to get a proper treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
