How Can Severe Bronchitis Be Treated?

A week ago, diagnosed with severe bronchitis. Possibly pneumonia but because I m 8weeks pregnant, no confirming chest xray. Finished zpack in the 5days. Still tightness in chest and crackle wheezing throughout the day. Albuterol nebulizer treatments 3/day. Last night, gave a toddler a quick bath, @5min, stood at nearly fainted. Flushed, lightneaded, woozy, head spinning when standing. After 15 min sitting in chair, check bp it was low 89\53. Felt very tired. Sat for an hour and monitored bp, steadily climbed for 10min jumped to 124/73, then settled around 116/64 . Quesion is do I need to be concerned with the lack of improvement with my lungs and the spell from last night? Should I see PCP, Cardiologist or OB/GYN? Could respiratory issue be affecting BP?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Because of the allergic bronchitis (it seems to be that one looking to the history and symptoms given here and it may not be pneumonia) fatigue, dizziness are common, and these can change the blood pressure. It greatly varies from time to time if you go on reading it on your own.

It is better to pay attention toward the symptoms and severe kind of symptoms demands the medical attention, secondly just to clear the doubt for hypotension you can see the gynecologist, just to examine the fetus condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
