How Can Severe Depression And Anxiety Be Treated?

I m going off Wellbutrin SR and beginning Seroquel on 7/20. I also take 200mg Zoloft daily. I really don t know the mgs of Seroquel I ll be taking but my doctor told me it was not going to be at a psychotic level. I m diagnosed with Reocurring Major Depression, Anxiety, OCD and Agoraphobia. I m well acquainted with bi polar and I do have some symptoms of bi polar m but have not been diagnosed. The reason I m being switched to Seroquel is due to adverse reactions of Chantix with Wellbutrin. I have no idea if this is a good reason to be prescribed Seroquel. I m 71 years old, female. widow. living alone. The Zoloft is to help with the anxiety. I also take Xanax when I have panic attacks.

Seroquel is having quetipine. It is atypical antipsychotic drug. It is newer drug so having least side effects and drug interactions.
It is also having antidepressant action.
So you can definitely start Seroquel with out fear.
Along with drugs, counseling sessions by psychotherapist is beneficial.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
