How Can Severe Diarrhea In An Elderly Person Be Treated?
My husband is 72 and has had severe diarrhea all day today. He passed out (syncope) this evening as he was walking towards the bed. He has done this before with this condition. He was very clammy and sweaty and was out for about 30 seconds. He is better now, in bed, and has drunk some Gatorade. Is there anything else we need to do? His pulse was/is normal.
